It's up at the FAA Yahoo group in the files...if someone who is more computer savvy than I could go and find a way to get it HERE that would be great. :)

Any previous versions were not correct, please don't use them--the links will be wrong, and it contained a few booboos.

Payments---Last I was told, we were only going to accept cc payments to the 3day fund. I am of the thinking that if people cannot pay that way, we should accept their payment in paypal, and then turn around and forward that money to the 3 day fund ourselves. IS everyone OK with that? I asked the group yesterday and got no response, so, I don't know what else to do. I am of the mindset that it would be helpful to have a paypal acct. set up along the lines of donations@fiberartsavengers.com for funded payments, but I can't do that.

Anyway, so that is my long-winded explanation for the lame payment wording--it links directly to Jesse's fund site when you post the auction.

And the pic--see the part where it says this:

<img src=YOUR PICTURE HERE

Where it says YOUR PICTURE HERE you would put the URL for your picture. so it would be like <img src=http://sitonknits.com/images/auctionpic.jpg</>

Does that make sense? :)

okay, just did my auction. make sure that when you cut and paste, you go back and delete any spaces between words becuase it actually translates into teh text and then the template looks all weird when youpost the auction.

and another note--if you'd like your picture to appear in the gallery, it will be necessary to upload that picture to wahmchicks or provide the url as you usually would for an auction, AND make sure you still put the urls in the auction template.

Let
me be your feet. You may not be able to literally, physically
walk the 60-mile route in the 3-Day, but I will. I will train,
I will go through the physical rigors of the event. I promise
to write about it, too. I will be your presence and your voice.
When I am weary from the journey, I will think of all of you--your
hands that knit love into each stitch as you created a scarf or
hat or socks that will comfort a breast cancer survivor or a dear
friend. The love and support you offer, the faith you bestow on
me to walk in honor of dear ones who have fought hard and lost,
or those who are still fighting, will not go unrecognized or unappreciated.
The journey begins now. I'm proud to have you as my partner.

Thanks for posting the code Pam, it wasn't working for me using word to edit the template. Woo hoo, my auction is up :) (just don't tell anyone I haven't finished the scarf yet - I will by the time the auction ends though ;) )
