So I finished my first project (no mistakes WOOHOO) and I need to do a single crochet around the edges of the LTK Apron Top. I am totally confused even though everything I am reading is telling me crocheting is easy! LOL
I am reading and looking at pictures but I sooo am not getting it. Can you help me so I can finish this project?

The single crochet isn't very hard at all ...not sure what I can tell you to help you understand it.....And I am left handed...So my stuff goes around backwards...
I am thinking that on the next one I knit I might try doing a garter stitch border instead. I did it on a sweater and it was pretty.....
I would just find some basic single crochet directions...you think of the edge of the apron as your chain (I think most directions would have you crochet a chain as a base for the single crochet...Can you tell it has been ages since I REALLY crocheted?)

I was just sitting here thinking about it... and realized I was looking at it wrong. So the edge, that border, is considered the chain? Yeah, I don't think I was doing it right at all! I need to find a pic of the close up edging so I can tell I am doing it right. I'll have to google it!
Does it matter what direction I go?

I don't think so...
Does this mean I helped????? (So I can add giving crochet advice to my resume!)

Now if I could just convince one of the local yarn stores to let me teach a class.......
