Okay I went out and bought circular needles for the apron-style top I'm going to do but I have NO clue how to use them. My knitting "how-to" book doesn't even mention the use of these. I went to knittinghelp.com and I don't see any instruction videos for using these either. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!

search for "knitting in the round". You will get a ton of hits.

That won't help her as she is knitting flat.....
Really if you can just conceptuallize them as 2 connected needles you will be fine.....
You hold one needle in each hand....You will knit a row and the needles will go from the needle in your left hand to the needle in your right hand....When you work all the stitiches.....
Put the needly in your right hand into your left and the one in your left hand into your right....(that is you are turning your work) Then you may have to slide the stitchs over to the end of the needle that is now in your left hand (B/c you have 29 inche needles- right?)
Work that row.....
EAsy as pie right? (And I have never baked a pie!)
Hope this helps....
YOu could also google for circular knitting...but I think most are in the round....
