Crocheted applique animals...

Anyone know of a great big book of *crocheted* applique animals? Small enough for soakers? In embellishing, I would love to crochet some animals! I wonder if there is a book filled with them? Anyone?

You can also use graph paper and graph a picture of an animal you would like to do.. Then for every square of graph paper you have filled in counts as a stitch.. The you can either backstick, cross stitch, or even embroider those stitches to fill that pattern..

That's what I do anyway..

if you do use the graph paper idea, a baby board book should have some very basic animal pics that would be easy to do. i was working on a mural and found a children's book that had very, very cute animal graphics that were quite simple.
