Ok, so I fiddled around with my lame resources and made us a blog button! And then Beth made a whole bunch more!! There will probably be more to choose from down the road, but you can always upgrade if we make ones you like more.

If you want to wear a button on your blog, you must BE an Avenger!! It's the Honor System! Go on over to Jesse's Fundraising HQ (https://www.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=61814&lis=1&kntae61814=DAC7 62497CA942B6831431D7C5A96ED9&supId=70755199) and make your starting donation. (You can always donate more later... fill in the amount you want to donate in the box .... doesn't have to be one of their standard amounts.)

Copy the button you like to wherever you keep your blog pix, and link it to www.fiberartsavengers.com !! If you link to this url for your picture, then you'll be using my bandwidth and Beth's bandwidth since we're hosting those images right now!

Thanks for trying, but that doesn't mean a thing to me. I can make the button show up in a blog post, but don't know how to link it to anything. I just highlighted the button and pasted it into the entry. ... wait, just tried and although it shows up in my preview, it doesn't show up when I make it a post? Ugh. I wanna be smart!!

Okay. I've upgraded for a month to try it out. I have it in my custom module BUT it doesn't show up as a picture AND it doesn't show up to the public? What am I doing wrong? Sorry to be such a dunce.

davina, i don't have premium and i have it on my blog. when you're on your blog, click your name at the top. then, on the left choose to edit public profile. then, on the left again, choose interests from the list of like four things.

I donated with paypal by creating a 'virtual master card' on my paypal account. That's free, then every time I need a credit card on line, I just plug in the master card number. You can do it immediately, dont have to wait.

I get to the page where it says to enter in the URL of the store, so when I put her URL in there and hit go, it just refreshes the page and doesn't do anything.

hey, just donated so I'm adding the button to my blog :)

I had a thought on maybe we can make a button that doesn't say "I'm a fiber art avenger" but just something like :fiber art avengers" for people who happen pon the site and don't donate? We can have it on one of the main (or on each main) page on teh faa site so that people can snag it and add it to their blogs. There are so many blogs that have tons of the buttons that I think it would be good to have one ready and easily accesible to download and add to a site, yk?

Hey Davina, are you adding the html to your blog via the "Edit HTML" tab at the top? Otherwise it doesn't recognise the html as such and gives you a little red pic box instead of the actual graphic...
