I ordered a set of Denise interchangable needles to try them out. Does anyone else have these?
Any hints or tips?

I haven't heard of those, but they sound interesting. Are they circulars?

I would like to hear how you like them. I bought some chepo Boye interchangeables, and I didn't even think that the cable shouldn't have been 16" so I buy a 16" cable, and then the needles, which made it into a 24" circular.

Oooh, I've been wanting to try those. I'm also going to get some Addi Turbos to try. I HATE Boye--I can't keep the stupid things from unscrewing!

Get the Addi Turbos. I got mine by "accident" they were the only ones that they had in the size I needed @ the yarn shop. Later, when I ordered some cheapers ones online, I realized how wonderful the Addis are. THey're so smooth to use. Faster too. Worth the xtra $$ in my book!

I :inlove: the Addi Turbos, too. How do the Denise interchangables compare I wonder? It would be nice to just be done with buying needles, LOL!

I have a set and they aren't my favorites. I usually use plain ol' Susan Bates needles and I guess I'm used to that super-slick feeling. The Denise have a lot more friction to them, and my knitting would get hung up at the joins. However, they did really well when I used them on the larger needle sizes because the stitches were so much bigger than the cord. It's defnitely nice to have them around so that I have the right needle sizes in the rare cases when I'm knitting something other than soakers.

Am I correct that the Denise system doesn't come any smaller than size 5? That is why I never got them as I am such a loose knitter I rarely use anything bigger than a 6!!

My fav. circulars are my Addi Turbos or my bamboo ones...size 3 and size 6.

I have the Boye needles... had a gift card and you can't get the Denise ones at Michael's. So far I like them.... I just keep screwing them back together, but I've also not tightened them according to direction because I'm changing needles a bunch to get gauge right.

The Denise ones look super cool. I'm thinking I'll ask for them for Christmas :)
