I just finished the increases and am about to start the straight rows. I can't wait to drop stitches!!! And it's a good thing all those ktbl stitches have been in there or I'd be bored already! lol I am loving this yarn. I keep stopping to pet it. I'll post a pic after I get to drop a few stitches. :D

It's Henry's Attic Andromeda in Theresa's Spring Fling colorway. :)

I just spent the last couple hours working on this while DD was sleeping and now I think I'm going to have to frog it! None of my dropped stitches are lining up with my yo's! They are supposed to line up, right?

OOOOH, the Spring Fling colorway is beautiful.
I have the yarn, does that count?? I have been trying to finish knitting a duck for my son's Easter basket (it will be a long night :fingersx: ) I hope I can start the clap before it's too warm to use it! :getu
I am going to be way, way behind - I've got too many things to do at the moment.

I can't believe how fast you knit Patti, do you leave your kids to kill each other all day while you knit or what?

lol - I feel like it's going slow. I haven't even touched it in about 4 days cause I've been working on hat patterns for the 3-day.

So I've made a little progress on my clap since I last posted. I had to frog seven inches. Oh my. Torture. But now I'm back on the right track.

This was taken last week, so I've made even more progress since then.

Alright, so I finally got some yarn to FINALLY try the Clap on Monday - I substituted a Merino/nylon combo from Stacy Charles called Mosaic - very pretty, and oh so soft. But as I'm working on my increase rows, my work is really curling up! I'm wondering if I need to increase my needle size? :getu :getu :getu
I can replicate gauge fairly closely with the recommended size 6's. I'm a completely self-taught knitter, and relative newby, so does anybody have words of wisdom? Does curling mean the fabric is too tight? :idea

Mine curled a lot too, but after I started dropping stitches it went flat.

Everyone's looks great!
I am on the fourth set of straight rows. I can only take so much Clapotis knitting and then I have to do something else...
