It seems like there are a number of questions about the donations/auctions...I wonder if we need a couple of posts- with sticky refering to the different options...

As I understood it....
some auction items would be for the buyer (And I don't know but are some auctions a percentage/flat donation -say over cost vs. a 100% donated item)
some auction items would be for the cancer patients near the location of the "crafter"

It might make it easy for someone who is making an item to be able to go to a post about what she would like to do...and only read the information that pertains to the kind of auction/donation she is making?

Maybe we just need a term for each....Donation for auction winner and Donation for patients?

I am sure this will all iron out as we get ready to actually do them......

Good idea, Pam. How about work with Kim to clarify our terms? We need to get the info updated on teh website too, so that's the next step. Once we figure out exaclty how we want to do it.

It looks like it is fleshing out - and once it all gets sorted through as to what we "want" to do I think it will all make sense for "defining"...just kind of confusing as people are bouncing ideas around...
