I got a wild hair this week and knit a hat with a nipple....I called it a boobie hat but my nursing 3 year old called it a "nipple" hat....

I don't have my software or I would load a picture. My DB offered to list them on "adult" sites- but I figured we probably don't want to be raising funds that way....My mom suggested that they be required as part of a new Hooters uniform....

It is just your basic hat (inspired by the pumpkin hat pattern - though I was working with no pattern) with a nipple at the top....IN a tan and pink.....(Just el cheapo red heart- b/c I was experimenting.)

Will add pictures if I ever make it home.

This is an adult sized hat...though I am sure my 5 year old would happily model it in the morning. He said it is his hat and that he wants to wear it all the time.....

I really like how it looks exactly like a boobie, but if you didn't know it could be just a hat

That was actually my plan...to do something with the 3Day...I mentioned that on one of the forums.....

I need to sit down and work up the sizing...I also think I want to change needle size and gauge too. I don't think it needs to be as tightly knit as it is...Of couse I haven't accurately measured guage...

This was an "inspired" thing while out of town...I picked up the yarn and just cast on what I thought would be right size wise for me......I did write down what I did - so I can recreate it......Of course now I have to make one that actually fits my son since he likes it....go figure.....

I also had this wild idea of knitting a nursing baby to go with the hat! Wouldn't that look funny!!!?
