hey, i'm starting this so i can post pics and updates on the knitting bag. i still have a hat and soaker to knit before i can start on it. but, i got the fabric for the first one yesterday. :D

the lighting stinks. it's navy, lime green, shades of blue and green and like a cream color. way cool! opinions? :decision

I love it! I'm a big fan of stripes in general.

LOVE the fabric. and i'm hard pressed to like anything that isn't solid black, brown, charcoal, or cream.

i can't sew to save my life so you'd better not go off inventing something i crave and then sell only the PATTERN.

Patti already did that to me and made me learn how to be a hooker. but at least that's still yarn.

here are some pics i took earlier. i've since sewn a bit more. the pocket is not sewn on in the pic. it looked too "matchy" with the stripes lined up. you couldn't tell there was a pocket. i don't know, just didn't like it! ;) thoughts?

I love those fabrics together. Is the black on the sides straps? maybe do whatever that side fabric in the stripes and then the pockets can be in the darker color?

LOVE the fabrics!!! I must say though, I don't like the matchy look of the pocket. :bag: I think diagonal would look cool... then, I do NOT have much of a fashion sense. :D

yep, I'm with marnie, I like matchy pockets. Un-matchy pockets drive me crazy. (yes, I'm anal, and I know it, :lol: I've learned to embrace my anal-ness)
