you can only give her points according to your 'rep power' ... if you have no rep power, her karma won't increase.

You're seeing her 'rep power' not her points! I don't know how to make her p oints visible. Put that on her list of things to do ;)

your rep power is two. you can give two points to anyone when you give them reputation/fluffies/karma.

Michelle has about fifty something points now !

Okay, I am slowly starting to understand.

Do your rep points go up based on your points and post count?

This is very complicated:)
