Addi turbos

Ok, i always use bamboo needles, but got 2 sets of Addis yesterday as some of the new yarn I'm using is really "grippy" yarn. my friends at my LYS finally convinced me.

My goodness these things are FAST. almost too fast for me. I have to modify how I'm knitting (and do a true continental) or the stitches go flying all over the place!

i love how they feel, they are almost as warm as the bamboo, and i LOVE the cables.

so i'm sold. I'm not giving my my bamboo, but for certain yarns, these things are amazing.

ssshhhhhhh....sssshhhhhhh....I was trying to convince myself to go for cheaper needles for my chunky class.

Maybe someone should buy my soaker so Dh won't mind if I get Addis - only everyone here knits their own!

hmmmm.... I have two pair since that's the only type my lys sells but I don't like them. They just feel all plasticy and the ends are sooo pointy. I guess I'm not quite at a knitting level where the needles are going to make a difference in how fast i get something done :sigh: :sigh:
