Here are some of the Administration Jobs that we’ll need filled at Fiber Arts Avengers. Let me know if you are interested. Be a Chairwoman, baybee!!
(Obviously, as this is our charity project, these are VOLUNTEER jobs!)
1. Donations/drawing coordinator: Keep track of items donated. Work with Marnie to update web page dedicated to these things. Collect photos. Manage distribution to drawing winners. Coordinate date/time of drawings with Pam. Coordinate publicity with publicity person <Julia/Averymybaby and Danica>
2. Publicity person: get the word out. big job. I hope to write articles and have them published. Think BIG.
3. Auctions coordinator: work with businesses/individuals who want to run auctions. set up a date/time. coordinate with publicity, Marnie/Webmama, make sure funds go directly to Jesse’s fund, etc. Work with donations coordinator to collect items to be directly donated to cancer patients. identify cause/group to receive knitted/crafted donations. <Kim/imonion and Patti>
4. Craft projects coordinator: work with WebMamaMarnie to set up page of free/donated patterns for our members to use for this project. Collect links, permissions, speak to designers and get patterns donated? Donated patterns can have a suggested donation for use, payable to Jesse’s fund. work with publicity, etc. <jmo/Michelle>
5. Advertising Coordinator: Get advertisers to advertise on our site? other clever ideas for raising funds? <Katie's filling this slot! Cynthia/TwoBeauties is deputy!>
6. Jesse’s T-shirt coordinator: solicit donations specifically from people who want a ‘name’ on Jesse’s shirt to be worn on second day. Jesse can explain more.
7. Buy Our Goodies Coordinator: Tshirts, mugs, whatever. Café press or some other local kind of organization?
8. Forum Liason: make posts to this forum to keep everyone updated, keep the calendar updated with our plans, and moderate this forum! <Pam M>
