Some of our older soakers are starting to get felted in the crotch area. It's from wearing, not washing. Is this normal, or do I need to try different yarn? Just wondering...

yeah, this is happening to me as well. They were my first two soakers and I think I used Pattons Merino-very soft and very pilly.
