Hello all. My name is Arwyn, I'm a work-from-home non-mom, currently stuck in the middle of nowhere Indiana. My partner and I are really really hoping to expand our family soon, but we're waiting on finances (do we need to be rich? no. do we need to have income of some kind? yes!). :irked I make AIOs (working on my own design!) and wool soakers, for fun and for a mom-friend of mine, and her 2yo DS whom I would steal if I could. I'm working on getting my own business up and running so we can be a bit more comfortable and ready when we are finally blessed with our own child (I don't know HOW any of you manage to START businesses while you already have children! I'm in awe. :bow ) Not to mention that kid will be set when it comes to cds! :) Or at least that's my not-so-diabolical plan. :sly:

(insert shameless plug) I'm also a labor doula trying to get my practice up and running. So if any of you are expecting in the IN/OH area, drop me a line! (end shameless plug)

Also, I'm almost done with my very first knit soaker! (I'm definitely more of a crochet gal) It's probably going up on kittybids. Any dying suggestions? (yes, I misspelt that on purpose - it's fun! :sly: )

-Arwyn (having too much fun with emoticons! :nut )

Kokomo, north of Indy? Not really close, no, but mapquest says it's about 2 hours away, which is how far I'm willing to travel for clients (I go to Indy on a regular basis anyway).

Can you PM me your SIL's email or work addy, so I can pass my info on? (I'm also listed on CAPPA's site)

Side note: I LOVE family practice docs. I have a total soft-spot for them. They're probably 90% of why I haven't abandoned western medicine altogether. Not the highest-paid thing to do with an MD, but definitely the most beloved. Give her a big :thumb for me!
