Hi!
I've been here for a few days and figured I should introduce myself.
My name is Leah (yeah, guess that was obvious).
I learned how to knit and crochet when I was a kid (thru mom and books). I made a few scarves, 1 sock, and several parts of sweaters. I was pretty good with the stitches, but never bothered with needle sizes, gauges, and proper yarn (OK, I was poor and those darn LYSs intimidate me). Now that I am into cd and finally discovered the wonders of wool, I decided to renew my interest in knitting (this time properly!) I took out a couple books from the library (stitch and bitch, idiots guide to knitting and crocheting) and found that my fingers remembered what to do! The funny thing was, I went to the kids section in the library and found the same book that helped me learn to knit as a kid (copyright 1970) it was kinda cool! I ordered some materials and a pattern and am waiting eagerly to start!
Anyway, thanks for reading my novel. I tend to lurk more than post, cause it takes me ages to write a post(yeah, I should keep it brief!) but you never know.
