Hey everyone.
Is it o.k. for me to post here? I hope so. I really had a good time making that soaker and that poor mama waited 3 MONTHS for it! She was very patient tho and had such a great idea to work with.
I was a little afraid that it was kinda "over the top" as far as embroidery goes but I guess you can't have too much huh ?
Back to the grind.....

Thanks everyone!
Well it did take a long time but not REALLY 3 months of course. I spent a lot of time trying to dye the right yarn, then I spent a way more time scratching my head lol! I was a little intimidated by the project and had a hard time getting started. Once I had it knit, I finally had my mil babysit one day so I could spend several hours at once and get a good start on the embroidery.
Yep, that soaker was sponsored by my Millie-mom :) (aka Mima)

It's fabulous. I had my husband look at it - he really liked it (and it's hard to get him to look at any soaker) I love the way the design is continuous around the soaker.

Elizabeth ~ I was so excited when I heard what her theme was. I remember way back when she one the auction and was discussing it at MDC. I knew you were going to come up with something fantastic, and, of course, you did! Really great job, mama. And it's not over the top at all. It is simply beautiful!

Totally speechless! That is so amazing! I wouldn't let a child anywhere near it!!!
I tried putting a simple balloon on one of ds' soakers and ended up ripping it out again!
