I think it's great, I used it last night to work out my increases. It's only what you could work out yourself if you could be bothered but it's nice to have it all written down for you so you don't feel like an eejit :)

Nicely done! I mostly use that method....

however, I am a math cheat. I usually adjust my increase stitches to be an even multiple of the number of stitches on my needle. I always work with even numbers, too. So that helps. And (don't stone me) I use YO increases that double as my drawstring eyelets, and actively place the "leftover decimal" stitches midway across the dront. That way I know which is the front and which back instantly, and have a little bigger space for the drawstring bow.
