Last night, DH and the kids and I were on our way home from Kentucky. We left at 3:30 from Crestwood (outside of Louisville). We stopped to eat at Bob's outside of Cinci. Then I decided that I would drive, so I hopped in the driver's seat. Around Dayton, I started to notice these cars pulling into the median and getting back on southbound 75. I thought "great... well we can't go anywhere but northbound, so I guess we are stuck."

We were. For an hour and a half. But I knitted. DH said "that girl over there two lanes over is watching you knit." I did, however, put the knitting down when a sheriff's deputy, trying to get to the accident, came up beside me.

So.... have you ever found yourself knitting in strange/out of the ordinary places?

That is why one should always carry their current project whereever they go...you just never know. :)

Never while driving - just while riding. The bathroom is as exotic as I get.

we just drove to de and back. i knitted the whole way up and down. i finished 2 prs of shorts for bella 1 pr of capri pants for bella, a pair of pants with embroidery for a customer, a pair of shorts for a customer and a half of a pair of shorts for the same customer. we had a couple traffic jams and horrible rain storms. my DH drives the whole thing so that he doens't have to deal with taking care of the children's needs LOL!!!!!!

I've been knitting while dh drives lately. I also had a chance to knit while waiting at the bank drive-thru the other day :juggle
