I finally have a use for bottles!

I wanted to dye some yarn to make a soaker with but when I was gathering everything up I found that a bandit stole my dropper. I rummaged through the cabinets until I found a bag of bottles dh's cousin had given me. So I rinsed one out and put the fast nipple on it:

I just squeezed it onto where I wanted it. The yarn is cooling right now but it worked really well and was lots faster than a dropper.

Of course someone else has probably already come up with this but it was new to me and I just wanted to share.

I've never tried a bottle before... that's a funny picture!! The item I have found works really well is a turkey baster.

My ds helps me with 'dyeing dammit' so we use a paintbrush and he just loves it :)
