Question about Needles

I need to get some more needles. Right now I have sizes 2, 4, 6, & 10.5 16" Aeros & a size 7 24" Addi Natura. I'm thinking about trying the Addi Turbos, but I don't know what sizes or lengths would be the most useful. Should I get 16" or 24" or figure out the whole Magic Loop thing & get 40" & be done with it? At this point I'm guessing sizes 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, & maybe 11 would be most useful, but I'm not sure about that either! Please help!

get a bunch of 16"s. They're a really versatile size! I'd get 7's and 8's to start to round out your stash. :)

Thank you! I like using the 16" ones I have--no cords getting in the way. Can the 16" length be used to make bigger things (adult sweaters, etc.)?

Depends upon what you're knitting. You can squeeze more stitches on there, but my guess is an adult sized sweater in the round would be too much for them to handle!

Thank you both! I ended up ordering a set of Denise interchangeables on someone else's recommendations. It will be a bit before they're shipped though so I may get at least an 8 to use until the others arrive.

I love my addis. since i just went yarn crazy i cant buy the addis i want with my check. but i have addi turbo 16" in sizes 4,6,13 and 2 - 12" #6's. I use these 5 needles ALOT!
I have 16 inch #5,7, 8,&10.5 on my wish list but it depends on what you will be knitting.
I have a 40" #8 (not addi) but i use it so seldome it does not warrant an addi (maybe after we buy the house in fall).
I dont like magic loop so I will remain with my 16 inch, they are super comfy for me
