I almost jumped out of my chair when I saw my name in bold as the subject.
Actually, I finally got some Addis in the right size, and got distracted working on my first EWS. BUT, I'm just about done with the ribbing, and don't have the right size for the body yet, sooooooooo... I'll probably set aside the :knit tomorrow and get back to that.
But the eight inch diameter bit I have is kinda pretty!
Thanks for asking. I still expect to see a pattern for that AWESOME shirt up here sometime!!! :nono (<-- we need a good stern smilie, something with the other kind of finger-wagging! :) )

Actually, I picked up that @
So there are 12 ch3 sp on the previous round, and then it says, basically, to make three more ch3 spaces in each of the previous ones... ending up with, miraculously, 18. WTF??? (pardon my abbreviation...)
Ok, here's what it actually says:
End of round 2: 12 sps
Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in same sp, (ch 3, sc in next ch-3 sp) around, ch 1, hdc in first sc to form last sp.
That should leave me with 12 again, right? Anyway, it looks right with 12 ch-3 sps at the end of rnd 3.
Then:
Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in same sp, ch 3, (sc, ch 3) twice in next ch-3 sp, *sc in next ch-3 sp, ch 3, (sc, ch 3) twice in next ch-3 sp; repeat from * around; join with slip st to first sc: 18 ch-3 sps.
???????????????????????????????????
Am I missing something? :? That left me with this TOTALLY frilly edge of 26 ch-3 sps.
Anyway, it felt like :bang , so I left it for :knit the EWS (almost done, btw - although I'm not sure which will be done first, the soaker or the yarn. :irked Ah well... that's another post). If you can solve this for me, I may get back to it, otherwise the stupid thing's going in the :pezfrog bin...

k, your round 3 is right, but I don't have enough imagination to figure out round 4 so I'm gonna go and recreate it then I'll get back to you...I have an idea of what's going on though.

K, I did it and I got 18 spaces. Here's what you need to pay attention to:
Then:
Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in same sp, ch 3, (sc, ch 3) twice in next ch-3 sp, *sc in next ch-3 sp, ch 3, (sc, ch 3) twice in next ch-3 sp; repeat from * around; join with slip st to first sc: 18 ch-3 sps.

Well, I'm on row 17/34, and it's about 3 feet in diameter. Very nifty. Quite a quickie (says the hooker)! Thanks again for getting me over that bump. :)

Voice, :piano , saxophone (alto&bari), harp, handbells, handchimes, flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, recorder, ocarina, organ, grass, rubberbands, bongos, and a teeeeeeeensy bit on guitar.
Um... yea. I think that's it.
Oh, and I was able to make an actual note on an oboe once. Double reeds are hard.
I want a groupie! :D
