Monkey Banana colorway

So, I'm doing a soaker to be teamed up with some monkey print diapers. The body of the soaker is yellow, I did a variegated from medium to light yellow with food coloring... What color should I do the contrast waist and thighs? The diaper print has a traditional (kiddie) brown monkey and some bananas and one has curious george... would a yellow bodied soaker with a brown band look putrid? Should I just leave it natural BFL color? Maybe green?

I'm afraid to make an ugly soaker and I don't want to dye up ugly BFL!

The first thing that came to mind when I saw Monkey Banana colorway was:
Banana yellow & Monkey brown ;)

I personally don't think a brown waist band & leg cuffs would look bad at all. And again this is just me speaking but I wouldn't want natural leg cuffs incase for some reason there is a poop escape if ykwim :)

I hope you can share pic's when your done! I LOVE Curious George ever since I was a kid.

OK, good, I was wondering if I was crazy. Would you do a light brown or a dark one? You know how monkies are kind of 2-toned, lol...

Hmmm how about a 2 toned brown ? Some Med brown & some light to go with the med yellow & light yellow you already have?

Just an idea though. That is a tough one to decide on :)

Maybe do yellow ribbing with a thin brown stripe? Green or red would look good too, if its Curious George. I think the other ideas sound great too...just tryin to throw out some ideas :)

I was thinking brown too. I guess the same as the monkey on the dipe.

bright banana yellow and a reddish brown are curious george colors! :)

I say brown, to match the monkey in the diaper. I think that would be super cute. :) But I'm big on brown combos.
