But I'm trying. I've been knitting for about a year, off an on. I taught myself and I am really spacially inept and terrible at math and I have a bad memory when it comes to really detailed but simple things (example: k2, p2 was really hard for me at first--I lost my place all the time). The one thing I do have is a desire to knit. I will try and try and try, even if nothing ever comes of my work.
I just attempted the ribbing on a soaker, k2, p2 and it took me about 20 attempts to get it right. I finally have it, by god. I'm stuck on the next step and these dang things may take me all year to finish, but I'm gonna do it.
BTW, I'm indiegirl. I'm on MDC as indiegirl, too. You can also call me Jesse :) I have two lovlies: Violet (almost 4) and Zoe (1.5) and am pg with girl
