I joined Crafter's Choice and two of my selections were the Idiots guide to sewing and Nancy Zieman Sewing something or other.... anyway, I've been reading the Idiots Guide and I love it. I love the format... it's exactly what I needed to refresh my age old skills from Jr. High. I haven't actually APPLIED any of it, but seems rather exhaustive as far as topics and is fun to read.
