Am I too late to join the clapotis knit-a-long?

I have some questions also.

1) Is it necessary to use the silk/wool blend, or would just wool be okay? I'm not sure I can splash the cash for the more $$$ silk and wool.

2)Is there a link to show how to do the drop stitches? I've never done those before (at least on purpose :) )

1. not necessary, others have substituted

2. no link necessary. you just follow the instructions in the pattern. flop the stitch off the needle and let it ladder down. :thumb
