I went to a new LYS/cafe today and will definitely go back when I have more time. Its a small place but what they have is good, including 12" Addis! I would have bought a pair but wasn't sure what size to get. :)

One of our LYS is closed today, so I went yesterday afternoon (DH came home early so I can go). The other one closes at noon today (so I went this morning). The last one is also open, but very pricey. The only thing is, they don't have any sales. All the yarn stores are packed with people so I guess there is no reason for them to go on sale!

Oh, I stopped at my LYS just now on my way into town! I got mucho manos. The bank was closed though.

Why oh why!?!?!?!?! Why can't Findlay, OH have a cool yarn store? Why can't I have the capital, time, and wherewithal to OPEN a kick-a&& yarn store in Findlay, OH? Why is my Joann's and Hobby Lobby SO lame when it comes to needle selection? I just needed a 40" size 9 circ, and maybe a size 3, too?

Mine was closed yesterday, today, and will be closed sunday and Monday (the normal days they are closed). And then in a week or so they close down for a week for inventory. (((whine)))

I tried to visit two yarn stores in Montreal a few days ago while I was visiting, and they were both closed. :getu

At least I have a store a couple of miles away from my new workplace! :superb
