Theresa, I think these are the same ones you have in your store, right? I may be getting myself confused so perhaps not..

Are these the same as the basic Bartlett Fisherman's wool? I'm wondering how soft they are.
Anyone?

yep, they're the same yarns as I've got :) They feel not-so-soft off the skein, but they soften up tremendously once they are washed, the bloom is quite lovely.

They aren't as soft as merino, but we have a pair of longies made out of Bartlett's and they're the most durable and waterproof pair we own. Most of our longies are out of LTK 2-ply (which we love). Bartlett's isn't quite as soft, but it pills less (not that LTK is bad about pilling) and generally holds up a little better.
