Moving!!!

John and I BOTH received job offers yesterday for positions around Atlanta. We accepted and we're thrilled since we were really hoping for these jobs. Dh has to report on 1/3, and I have to report on 1/4 - ACK! And we're going out of town on 12/28 through 1/1!!!!! We changed our flights to fly out of Atlanta, so basically we have to start packing TONIGHT, drive what we need up to Atlanta right after C hristmas, fly out for vacation, fly back, sleep, report to work. Heh, heh. Then we'll fly back to Ft. Laud on MLK weekend, rent a truck, and drive our stuff up. Oh, god, I think I'm going to pass out. :faint

I'm so wiped out from sheer excitement. I feel like I have a hangover this morning, and I don't even drink. LOL

I'm supposed to be packing my clothes and essentials, but I feel stymied b/c of everything else that needs to be done. So here I am, 10:45 AM, sitting at the computer. :p I have bags of stuff to take to GoodWill, Christmas presents that need wrapping, shopping lists to take care of (e.g. video tapes and batteries), and a house FULL of crap that I don't even want to take w/ me! We have SO much stuff, and SO much of that stuff we don't need. I opened closets that haven't been opened in months and nearly cried. I went into the garage where there is a narrow path from the door to the door, and I nearly cried. I look at the crap piled in corners and almost cry... My house has bad feng shui. :(
