Knit Cell Phone Holder

For :tree I want to knit my mom, stepmom, and possibly my dad and my mom's boyfriend a cell phone holder. I don't have a cell phone so I can't even make my own pattern. I don't want a felted one, just a knit one. Oh, and it needs to be free. ;)

Gena... do you have the first Stitch & Bitch book? There are cool IPod, cell phone, and Palm Pilot holders in it. If not, I can copy the pattern for you.

I don't have the book yet, but I have been wanting it. I would absolutly love it if you could copy the pattern for me. I found one through a knitting yahoo group, but I am VERY open to other options. ;)

Actually, it would be copyright infringement if I copied it without their permission... I wasn't thinking (and Pamelamama was kind enough to point it out to me ... LOL) so probably not a great idea for me to copy it for you. It really is similar to the links that Pam posted above.

Ahhh, I didn't think about that either! That would be bad, LOL.

The last link is the one I was going to try today. Minus the fringe. I wanted something that was a cell phone cover, not a purse. That way they could just toss their cell phone in their purse. KWIM? That's why the last one is the one I liked. I also don't remember what kind of phones they have so it looks like it would fit just about any type of phone.

I am going to use different yarn and slightly smaller needles but I am sure it will come out right.
