I'm feeling so frustrated! I have so many ideas and not enough time to do anything!

My current project: sportypants for nephew to match sweater.

next: all-over-cables soaker for trade & get pattern done for sale

then: something for me? clapotis (http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall04/PATTclapotis.html) ?? Socks??

Something for kids' school auction??

It's so hard to even remember the ideas I had that I wanted to work on!

Grrrr!!

I hear ya! Seems like every time I get a couple ideas..you know to start right after I finish whatever is in my hands, my time disappears or my expectations are too great.

I started a knitting journal. It was just a small fit-in-my-pocket-or-purse notebook, but had project lists, ideas, simple stitch patterns. Basically anything to do with future adn present knitting projects.

The best and worst part about it was having everything written down all together. Still not sure I'm really upset that warm cocoa was poured over it.... The only thing I remember that I lost was the ribbing pattern for the fisherman's rib that looked and knitted nothing like the fishermans rib I can find online!

But I ramble...

I feel that way too :getu I keep writing down new ideas to work on and now that list is just depressing me because it's growing so fast and mocking me continually. :getu

Add me to the list! :getu And Christmas is fast approaching...all of my hopes of knitting gifts are slowly waning. Feeling very snow lately.

I know. I have pants to knit and hopefully a few gifts, but the kids are taking turns being sick. So instead of sitting down to knit from 830 (bedtime) till 11 or so, i am holding a toddler or laying down with my 3yr old. I love that I can help them feel a little better, but I NEED to get these things finished.

You totally need to make a Clapotis! :nod

It would look very yummy in these yarns from Inspirations Yarns: http://www.inspirationsyarn.com/Home.htm

Or some Koigu Kersti!

Can you tell I've been wanting to make a Clapotis? :LOL
