I used it right away - of course! :LOL I don't know how I went without for so long!!!!!! It's soooooooooo amazing!

One question though... how do you wind up skeins from a ball (center-pull ball)?

Do you mean taking a center-pulled ball and winding the yarn up on your swift? Or vice versa?

If you mean the former, is there a reason you are doing that (to dye it?)

If it is the latter, you need a ball winder.

I have a ball winder. I need to take a center-pull ball and make it into a skein to dye it. :)

I just knot one end of the yarn to an arm of the swift, then spin it from the top (if that makes any sense) I don't know if this is the proper way of doing it or not but that's what I do :)
