This is the company that sells Addi Turbos. Well they won't open an account with me because I am strictly online and do not have a brick and mortor store. My plea for reconsideration fell on deaf ears. I'm a bit miffed.

On the other hand, I just contacted Showers of Flowers and they will give us a discount on a bulk purchase of needles. I don't know how much of a discount without giving him specific numbers. I know that their prices are lower than my LYS so that's a good start. Shall we pull together a co-op? They have 12" circs:)

I think my rep must be completely out of the loop, cause she hasn't told me anythign like this, LOL! Jess got told the same thing, though.

To be honest, I'd be wary of doing the co-op thang, that's probably one of the reasons they don't sell to online-only retailers, LOL. Those of us with strictly online shops have way less overhead than LYS and can undercut them a great deal, and enough of them have probably complained and gotten skakel to agree no more internet-only retailers. Makes sense from their end, but sure is frustrating for you :(

Maybe I'm considered a regular retial location because I teach and sell to my (in the flesh) students) besides my online shop? Hmmm...
