Ok ok, I just have to brag about a present I... er I mean, DS got for his birthday. He got a Spiderman Sling! He doesn't like it yet, he just cries and tries to rip it off, but I know he will love it when he gets older and when we have another baby. I tell ya, this is the manliest childs sling I have ever seen. I mean, come on, it's Spiderman!
The momma who gave it to him just started coming to our breastfeeding support group. Her DH is deployed so she is staying with her parents. I just met her for the first time last Tuesday, and saw her again at a party on Sat, then at Tristan's Bday on Sunday. We totally hit it off. She CDs, her daughter is still nursing at 2 1/2 with plans to self wean, she is totally AP and we just get along so well. Sadly she won't be here permanently because when her DH gets back she is going back to live where he is stationed (odviously). But he is suppose to be deployed for 9 months or so, I think. SOOO, I now have an AP, slinging, Extended BFing, Self weaning, CDing friend! Yay!
This was just an all around good weekend for me. :)

It is a basic ring sling, exactly like the sling I have, if it were bigger it would probably work on an adult with a real child. :)
