I found this cool pattern for open top mittens http://www.geocities.com/febmommy/openmitten.html

but it is in crochet. Now, I am not a very good knitter, but I can't crochet at all. My DH would LOVE these for Xmas, but I don't know how to change the pattern to knit, and I can't find one for knitting.

Can someone help me?

And she comes flying in...it's a bird...it's a plane..NO! It's the Resident Hooker MAMA!!!! :D :D Hook and yarn in hand!!

Ok...these are super simple...first find your fav knitted mitten pattern worked from the ribbing up..do all the way up to about an inch or so above the thumb finish off..then do a cup of sorts (top of toe maybe?) for the rest of the length of the mitten, add a button hole and button...and you've got it..lmk if that doesn't make any sense...
