I'm sure I mangled that spelling...
Dear mom was going to get me a ball winder for Christmas, but I'm attracted to the wood in a nostep...
I just wound an 8 ounce center pull "cake" using the toilet paper tuber center method. I fear the nostep couldn't handle it. Would I be better off splitting the skein into two pieces in that case? This cake fits fine in a gallon ziploc bag, but good golly that's a big slab o' yarn.
