I'm out of yarn and all I wanna do is cry! I was working on a pair of longies in Peace Fleece last night for a dear friend of mines daughter, when I ran out at midnight. :faint

I have three inches left on both legs to go...do you think it would be a fashion faux pas if I used the waist band color for those last three inches? I was planning on doing two inches of ribbing at the ankle in the other color, but apparently my plan isn't working, LOL!

The colors I am using is Seamoss at the waist band and ankles, and Periwinkle for the main color. I do have a skein of the Georgia Rose that might not look too bad, as a one inch stripe (DH says NO, LOL)....

On the off chance that someone, somewhere might have this dye lot *and* be willing to part with it the dyelot number for the Mir-Atlantis Periwinkle is 7516. I ordered it during ravingcuties (Kate) PF yarn coop.

I'm off to blow up the balloons and shred the confetti for the pity party I'll be throwing later this afternooon :pink

:( That's so frustrating. My periwinkle dyelot is 8243, otherwise I would be more than willing to send you an ounce or two of it. I think the Georgia Rose looks great with the Periwinkle, but my dh nixed putting them together, too! :goodgrief

I don't have any of those colors, but I think the 1" stripe would look fine, then you could use that color for the drawcord. :) Sorry, running out of yarn sucks. I just had to tear out a pair of WPs with 8.5" legs b/c I had the guage off, they were too big and I didn't have enough yarn. :violin

I'm so sorry to hear that! Here's a pair that I made with a stripe at the bottom. I actually did it on purpose b/c I knew I wasn't going to have enough yarn, and I really like how it came out. If you tear out the fitst couple of rows of the waistband you can add some of the third color there. The pic is a little off but the colors I used were cranberry, sage, and cream.
