Hi everyone! I'm Nicole, and I have two daugthers (both in diapers still). Ashton is 2 years old, and Ryleigh is 6 months old.
I just started teaching myself to knit a week ago. I just completed my first project (a purse for my daughter), and I'm so excited that it actually looks like a purse! :) I can't wait to try a soaker!
I'm learning a lot from all of you ladies, and I'm very excited about learning to knit.

How long did it take for you to feel like you went from novice to a more comfortable knitter? It's still a little awkward for me, but like I said- I'm thrilled it actually looks like a purse! :lol:
