Why are you interested in organic? What are the concerns that buying organic yarn are addressing for you?

Treatment of the sheep is a biggie and knowing that the yarn hasn't been thru tons of chemicals. Is that what you meant? :LOL

partly.....but how much chemicals do regular yarns endure? and I assumed because it was organic it meant the sheep lived on an organic diet...not that it implied any post-shearing processing or treatment of the sheep.
So maybe what I am looking for is....what does organic yarn really mean?
