Dh and I are trying to clean up our hot tub so we can use it again. The shell is pretty delicate and can't handle harsh cleaners. Is there organic cleaners out there that kick the crap out of grime? I would love to know!!!

I use alot of vinegar to clean. I also have a solution of tto, water and baby shampoo or dish soap. Works great on greasy kitchen counters and such.

My favorite cleaner is Borax. Its all natural and doesnt hurt the surfaces of tubs and the like. You just use it as if it were any type of powdered abrasive cleaner...moisten the surface, then scrub away the grime. As much as I appreciate that vinegar works, I can't stand my home smelling like a pickle for days after using it. LOL

I've found that a sprinkle of baking soda and a squirt Dr. Bronner's soap plus some elbow grease is great for scrubbing.

Enjoy your tub scrubbing. :D

My favorite cleaner is Borax.

Be careful when using Borax it is corrosive to your lungs if you breathe it in. :decision
it does work really really well on tubs and such and also to brighten your laundry.

I have a great book called clean house clean planet it has tons of recipes in it for great household cleaners + it tells you the difference between the commercial cleaners and what is in them.
