I just bought 2 pairs of Addi Turbos at my LYS.

16" size 8 for $13.95
16" size 10.5 for $18.50

:faint :faint :faint

Are those prices normal or inflated? $18.50 seemed like a lot to me :chin

Most Addis I've bought have cost $12-$14, but I don't think I have any larger than 8's, so maybe the price skyrockets with the larger ones?

Yeah, the larger ones cost more, regardless of the length of the cord. What you paid sounds about right (as compared to my LYS).

Thanks! I wasn't sure and this LYS is typically pricey :pink

That's what my LYS charges for the Addis.

I think I paid $13.95 for my size 7 12" circs at my LYS. I've never looked into the larger sizes though.

thats about right...I *truly* think they are worth it however and have over the last year built up my 'collection' one by one. I think I have every one from 3-10 in a 16" and 3,5,6 and 8 in the 12" size for doing pants legs and sweater sleeves. I think I even have double sets of my 6s and 5s so that i can have two projects going at once.

Anyway...they are pricey, but they are worth it (superior product) and come with a lifetime guarantee I believe.

I want to start picking up larger sizes for sweaters and recall hearing a price of 30 bucks or so for one of them...but again...lifetime investment and worth it. To me, if it makes knitting more enjoyable...then I'll splurge.

Oh I agree they are worth it and I LOVE them too.

I was just suprised that the 10.5 size pair were so much more expensive. :pink
