O.K. Are you ready for my next cool project?!

It was my dh's idea really, but I'm making it much better. I'm going to make them for my toy store. Knitted (and crocheted of course) Doll houses! Complete with little lamps, beds and quilts, toilets, everything! I've started already and they are sooooo cool. And my daughter is loving them! :banana

Not sure! :LOL Please don't take this the wrong way (I'm trying to picture it in my head), but how does it stand up to a child playing with it? Like, doesn't it fall over? On the other hand, it sounds cute! I love hand knit/crocheted toys.

Yes, they stand up. My daughter is playing with them and loves them! I'll have to get pics to give you a better idea. I think they are adorable :goodgrief

I think people will like this kind of thing, because I've been trying to put my play food up, but can't because I have so many ordered by word of mouth locally. It's kitschy.

Ok..and did you purchase this pattern somewhere or did you figure it out? I'm ever curious as I always want to expand my inventory...you can share (or not) that's ok..it's a great idea..I can't really wrap my head around the pattern though :hmm

I had this idea last spring. I really considered doing it, but the amount of work involved was overwhelming to me. I'm glad somebody's doing it cause I think it's a great idea.
