I'm doing legging legs in a 2/1 rib .

Is there an elegant way to decrease with this pattern. :chin

First, I tried a knit 2 tog with a knit 2 tog. But that left me with a small hole from the knit3 tog. :goodgrief

Then, I tried three consecutive knit 2 tog. But that is looking kind of wonky also.

The other aspect to this is I'm going to have to do a kind of substancial decreasing because their thighs are soooo chunky but their ankles... not so much. KWIM?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. :pink

why not decrease the 2 x 1 down to 1 x 1?

Have to tried *slip 1, k2tog, psso*, it would decrease by 3. Not sure if it would look right or not, because I only have used it in a hat with a pattern.

So far I decreased every other ribbing to a 1x1 then I'll to the other half in a few inches to complete the decreases. So far it looks better than what I had going before but we'll see as I get farther into it.

I got one leg almost finished. It turns out it's not so hard to knit when the baby is chewing on the soaker but it's alot more difficult once their hand eye improves and they like catching the loop on th ecircular. She does prefer watching the Addis to the bamboo because of the shinyness but it's still slow going :sigh:

I got sooo much more knit while she was still baking.
