I knit this sweater for Ds
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v375/mama2babybiggirl/DSCF0359.jpg

I was so happy with it and had a TON of yarn left over so I decided to knit another for Dd...

Well today I am just over 1/2 through the body. (this is a top down in the round pattern by Cabin Fever) and got fed up with dealing with my Boye interchangables...they kept coming unscrewed...NO that wasn't my problem../

I switched back to bamboo and on the second round thought my stitches seemed a bit tight....

Well low and behold I have been knitting the sweater on one needle size smaller than I did for the first sweater....

Since the pattern is a 2/4 size I think I may be okay to continue it as is...I am going to check gauge and perhaps try it on dd to see if I have to frog to get it to fit....

Now if those needles are size 8....well that means they were in the wrong spot in my case ----WHICH ALSO mean that the swatch I knit for the pants class wasn't on size 8's .......Now I have to go back and figure out what size THOSE were before I make a mess of those pants......

I love the sweater too...Now here is a What would you do question.....

I have sweater #2 (same but smaller needle one) body done....7 rows from the end and I am supposed to k4 k2tog....And guess what? I have an extra stitch....I don't see where one got picked up...so I am guessing mixed something up at the arm holes.....

Now if I frog it will be back almost 7 inches ....If I leave it I would just have that one extra stitch there in that decrease row.....

What would you do??????????????/

work the extra stitch out at one of your decrease seams.

I'd leave it because it wouldn't bother me if I couldn't see where it came from. But, if it's gonna bug you then I'd frog it.

Well there aren't any decreases until this final round where I found it....And of course last night I found where I picked it up - or rather where it slipped off the stitch holder and ended up on the body...so, I will probably just frog it----b/c it means that one arm would need to be fudged a bit to get it even with the other (it will be a stitch short)

I know neither of these are a big deal but I know it and I think it will make me happiest to look at a sweater that doesn't have those mistakes...And since it is a size 2 it isn't all that big around so it shouldn't take long to redo anyway.
