I am having the worst dyeing day ever.

I bought some acid dyes because I wanted to do a nice brown and blue deal. I had some FBF yarn that I had dyed super-fugly and I planned to over-dye that dark brown and then dye up 2 gorgeous white Peace Fleece hanks.

Long story short: 1 ruined Peace Fleece hank, one not over-dyed FBF hank, very little brown dye left, one STINKY RIT episode that did not work and 1 crabby knitter. 1 hand of PF turned out OK but one is not enough.

Why is it that I dyed 8 zillion stupid Fisherman's colorways with always beautiful results but expensive, organic, wool from far away lands gets ruined???

I'm so tired.

I'm sorry. Is there any chance that its not *that* bad? Sometimes I think I ruined something, then come back and look at it and realize its somewhat ok...

Um, well, it was pretty bad, lol.

The crappy PF was nice until the brown bled all over the blue. I tried to rinse it before it set and that made it pretty bad. Then the RIT made it the fugliest grey ever... plus somewhere along the lines it got super knotted. So very bad.

The FBF I had tried to dye fall colors and instead it came out bright orange and neon green. I tried to overdye it dark brown and now it is orange and green with a slightly brown cast.

I knew I was going to have a crap day... I have no idea why I decided to dye, lol. Luckily I talked myself out of tie-dyeing today!

I need some retail therapy!
