These are two I"m fooling with now:
* knit to within 2 stitches of the marker, PSSO, slip marker, k1, psso-R
* PSSO = slip 1 st purlwise with yarn in back, knit 1 st, pass slipped stitch over
* PSSO-R = knit 1 st, put it back on left needle, pass stitch to left of returned stitch over returned stitch, slip resulting stitch back to right needle
and
*slip raglan marker, knit in the back of the stitch, p2tog, work in pattern to 2 sts before the next raglan marker, p2tog*.
gonna go look at yours marnie

I am so ready for this sweater! Can the sweater be the next class? Because I'm getting dh's Bubbe to teach me to knit better at Thanksgiving time, and I will be ready. As mentioned above. Raglan and cables are my fav for kid sweaters :moon

it's not hard~ three tubes knit in the round...
connect them at the underarm on one long cable
work around doing decreases at the raglan markers and then split for v-neck!
eaaaazy!!!

I would love a sweater class. I think I could handle it on my own, but I have T's Raglan in the Round, and the arms are what confuse me. I haven't actually tried to knit it yet, but just in reading. It will probably all make sense when actually knitting it. I love the cables in this one. I can't wait for the pattern. Ella would look soooo cute in a matching pants, sweater, cap combo.

i've got plenty of blueberry borscht with sweater written allllll over it.
Oh, I have some Georgia Rose and Mir-Atlantic Periwinkle that will be PERFECT for this sweater! Can I go for licensing on this pattern?

How many skeins does the sweater take?

still working it up. For the smallest size, two skeins is plenty. For a big kid?? Maybe three? I don't have a clear sense of this yet.

Bah! I had no idea that T had a raglan in the round. I hate to have a similar pattern. Well, it'll be different because I'm planning a V-neck and mine has the cable accents down the sides and arms.

cool - I have two skeins of Bahgdad Blue.... I'll have to make the pants and order some more through Katie in December to make the matching sweater!!!

hey Pam, it's okay ;) Mine is for bulky yarn, been up since last christmas, although i've got the worsted version waiting for me to double check the arm numbers, LOL ;) But with the cables, your's is definitely different!!

You did a great job! You've inspired me to make my boys another sweater! And I can't wait to buy the pattern when it's out. ;) The color yarn you used is so awesome, I love it!

I am considering creating a private forum for a 'designalong' where several individuals get advance copies of the pattern and knit it with me as I design it. Sort of like, ah... testers! Anyone who is interested and really willing to work on this, please PM me!
