I have 116 stitches in my round. I want to increase a total of 30 stitches. My round is divided into "front" and "back." At the end of my increases I want to have 12 total more stitches in front, and 18 in back. I'd like to do the increases over 3 rows, so 10 stitches per row.. 4 in front and 6 in back per row.
Now how do I do that evenly across my round??? I'm totally lost on how you do the math.

try this?
http://www.fromthehartle.freeservers.com/KnittingPatterns/EvenIncreaseCalculator.html
plug in the number of stitches you have in the front....and number you want in the front ....should tell you where to place those increases
do the same for the back...
There could be a bit of variation since the calculator gives you the increases for flat knitting but it should work okay...

You could calculate it for each of the three rows you want to do...
I think what increase you do is really a personal preference thing.

Wouldn't it be to just divide 58 by 4 and 6?
