I've got another load of dipes to donate (to poor people sillys) any suggestions?

Well, we could setup a place here to list things we need to clear out, maybe in the swap forum? I know that I need to get some bigger stuff for my little guy already...

As far as charities, the only thing I'm aware of is that Cotton Babies (www.cottonbabies.com) has a program where Missionaries can apply for free diapers. I have no idea what the response has been to her program or if there have been families she's been unable to help.

A friend of my mother regularly sends these baby packages, I think through a church group. She usually buys prefolds from the goodwill for dipes but of course loves to send better quality as well! I'll ask my Mom for her address details tonight and post them. :pink

The last info we heard was that our agency was going down later this month and they were going to find out whether the orphanage was going to be switching to cloth diapers now that they had the washing machine. As soon as I know, rest assured I'll be letting everyone know!

We are also going to be visiting the orphanage in ONE MONTH and I think I'm going to bring some flats and prefolds with me and do a quick demo. I don't even know if any of them even know what's involved with cloth diapers.

For those of you who don't know, Liam and I have been attempting to adopt our daughter from Guatemala for about the past year now. We lost our first referral (Lily) and are now in progress to adopt our second one, Wendy Marisol. Liam takes Pam's classes here. He's about to try to whip out a blanket and some booties for us to bring with us.

Wendy is actually living with a private foster family, not in the orphanage. Just so no one here thinks I'm trying to solicit donations for her benefit! This is a separate venture that our agency happens to be involved with so we are helping however we can.
