hawaiian punch powdered drink?

Anybody try this yet? It was next to the koolaid at wally's. It was the same price as ka and they had an orange, green and red. I got the orange to try instead of orange koolaid because it has yellow 6 and yellow 5 and ka orange only has yellow five, so I was curious about the color diff.

I always thought it had added sugar. Does it?

it says "unsweetened drink mix"


but:

ingredients: fumaric acid, dextrose, nat and art flavors,ascorbic acid, salt less tha 2% of blah blah

maybe the dextrose with gum things up?

I would try mixing some with water and nuking it to see if it gets gummy, kwim?

ok sorry it took awhile baby needed me.

test 1--taste--yeach doesn't taste sweet!

test2 -nuke the 'ell out of it--when I reduced it as far as it would, it does have more substace left over than ka, but it is not sticky or gummy, more like powdery.

I guess I'll try dyeing with it and see what happens


Off to take the tooth brush to my orange hands...

it is not a very "strong" orange when dyed up. Not too impressed :(

Aww! How much did you use to how many oz of yarn? Maybe it just needs to be stronger?
