I just got this neato book for my b-day, and the patterns use some really cool looking yarns. I'm specifically looking for Tahki baby and Crystal Palace Iceland, or anything else that's really bulky or chunky (like gauge=2-3st/in). Besides buying from wahms, I really don't know where to buy online. Where's your fav place for specialty stuff? Thanks a million!

Oooo! THe Iceland is nice! I got it at my LYS. Soooo soft. Great colors too.

I like those too.

Sort of on the same subject, I went backpacking in Iceland when I was 20 and bought some yarn which I was so proud of because it was Icelandic and I was actually there and it was soft and beautiful...and then it turned out to be the crystal palace Iceland which is actually from Australia. :violin

:faint That was so disappointing.

But it's a fantastic Australian yarn.

If you don't need those yarns ASAP, I'll probably be ordering CP yarns in the next few months ;)
